Our first step is to carry out an assessment
of your requirements, also known as the “Pre-move
survey”. This is an opportunity for you
to meet our Relocations Consultant, to discuss in particular
your requirements and for us to assess the best way
to carry out your requirements. Our Relocations Consultant
will become your personal contact throughout the move
and will be too pleased to assist or to advise in
any way possible.
It is recommended you call for a maximum
of three reputable professional moving companies to
conduct a pre-move survey. At this point of time you
would need to provide Vanpac International some information.
• Your final destination? Is
there any parking restrictions?
• An idea of your travel itinerary will be useful.
• Be definite of what items you wish to pack,
sell, or to give away.
• What should be sent by air?
• What are your special packing requests?
• Expected moving date/ suggested delivery date.
• Your shipping allowances and expenses
for which you are responsible.
Relocations Consultant will sit down with you to analyse
your needs, special requirements and to introduce
Vanpac's International services. We will provide
you information concerning how your shipment will
be packed, number of days needed to complete packing,
transit times, customs information and unpacking services
at destination. After the pre-move survey, a written
quotation for your move will be sent to you within
three working days.
